The Jan Deyl Conservatory hosted a Czech-Mexico evening

On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, a concert by KJD students took place in the Jan Drtina concert hall under the auspices of the Czech-Mexico Chamber of Commerce as part of the Czech-Mexico evening. Miguel Angel Vilchis Salgado, chargé d'affaires a.i., spoke at the beginning. Embassy of Mexico in the Czech Republic, Ing. Věra Kovářová, Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and JUDr. Cyril Svoboda, Ph.D., former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
Then the concert itself began, during which the works of Josef Mysliveček, Giulio Caccini, Joseph Barat, Ástor Piazzolla, David Popper, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse and Jaroslav Ježek were performed by students of classical and popular singing, trumpet, accordion and cello. Their performance was well received by the audience.
After the concert, a short social gathering followed in the premises of the Chamber Hall.
