The 16th International Cello Competition of Jan Vychytil took place in Prague from 26 to 30 October 2022.
The 3rd prize in the 6th age category was won by the conservatory student Kateřina Korbelová.

The competition is organised by the Prague Music Institute under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, the Prague 3 Municipal District, the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97 and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Prague.
Kateřina Korbelová from the class of Mgr. Petr Šporcl was accompanied on the piano by MgA. Jitka Fowler Fraňková, Ph.D.
