Tenor Daniel Matoušek a soloist of the National Theatre Opera

Tenor Daniel Matoušek, a student of the 5th year of classical singing, (class of Mgr. Jarmila Chaloupková), becomes a soloist of the National Theatre Opera in Prague from the new season. He currently performed there in the premiere, which took place in the State Opera building on 16 September 2022, in the role of Mustafa in the most famous operetta by the Hungarian composer Paul Abraham "Ball at the Savoy Hotel".

"The star of the performance, however, was clearly Daniel Matoušek, who, whenever he appeared on stage (which was very often), completely dominated it. His Mustafa was incredibly funny, energetic, charismatic, and performed with the utmost commitment both vocally and as an actor. He was rightly appreciated by the enthusiastic audience with thunderous, loud applause not only during the final thank you but also throughout the performance."
